3 p.m. Lake Barrea, National Park of Abruzzo, Italy

At the time the region was living a fire emergency capable of threatening the forests, its wildlife and the villages nearby.
Every 20 minutes the Canadair CL-415 aircraft was landing on the lake to refill its reservoirs with water to be used against the fire.

Thanks to this peculiar situation the lake was continuously immersed in this low aircrafted rumble.

Picture and Soundscape were taken on 7th May 2020 during the second phase of the Covid19 pandemic lockdown. At that time people were starting to get outside their homes and to claim back the public spaces.

  immersed in sounds · Cali 30.12.2023 1 a.m. Sucre barrio, Cali, Colombia. Cali, the salsa capital of the world, becomes a total different city at night. It seems like everyone just woke up and started to dance, sing and have fun in general. In this recording you can hear different parties from different locations melting together with the city's sounds creating an unique soundscape.
